Athletes who are in two events at the one time e.g. High Jump and Discus, should report to the jumping event first to get their name marked off, then go to the throwing event to compete, before heading back to their jumping event.

CARNIVAL RULES:

1. 100M: Three competitors per event.

200/800M and field events: Two competitors per event.

One relay team per event.

2. Children competing are to wear a t-shirt or singlet identifying their school and a name tag showing name, age/DOB, school.

3. FOOTWEAR: Spikes are permitted in track events (7mm track, 9mm Jumps) except for 800M and they must be carried to the marshalling areas. No bare feet allowed in any event.

NB – It is the policy of the Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre that competitors in track events use the starting blocks which will be supplied by the Centre. This is the venue for the Sydney East Association Carnival.

4. Finals: (a) heat winners and the next fastest times will quality for track finals;
(b) first five in each heat of 800M qualify for the final.

All protests, must be submitted by a teacher within 15 minutes of event completion and shall be dealt with by the Carnival Conveners, Referee(if applicable) and Wiley Park Zone P.S.S.A. Executive.

6. ADMISSION/PARTICIPANTS: $6.00 for one or both days. A levy form will be sent out prior to the event.

Students with a Disability-
